Not every experience of Talking Tolkien has to be a positive one. Some times Jonathan, Katie and Chase have to sit through a boring, convoluted and dreadful Hobbit movie. This week, they watched The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and had to fight off sleep and rage during it's 2 hour and 41 minutes runtime.
